Products and descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, and natural or handmade materials can vary. Product measurements and finished results are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Please read the product page for required tools, ability level, safety information and whether a finished item is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment is not authorised or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
Prices and payment
The price shown on the product page at the time of ordering applies. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. You must be authorised to use the payment method supplied.
Delivery
Standard UK delivery costs £5 and is sent by Royal Mail. We aim to dispatch orders promptly and will contact you if a material delay or availability problem arises. Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please contact us quickly if you notice an error.
Your right to cancel and returns
For most goods bought online, you may cancel within 14 days after receiving them and then have a further 14 days to return them. The customer pays return postage for unwanted goods. Craftalo refunds reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods where a return is required.
Further instructions and refund information are set out in our Delivery & Returns policy.
Faulty goods
Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If there is a problem, contact us with your order number so we can offer the remedy required by your statutory rights.
Video tuition and digital material
Any tutorial, download or other learning material supplied with a kit is for the purchaser’s personal, non-commercial use unless Craftalo agrees otherwise in writing. It must not be copied, republished, sold, shared publicly or used to create competing instructional material.
Where access to digital content begins immediately at your request, any cancellation rights relating specifically to that digital content may be affected where the law permits and the required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
Safety and supervision
Craft activities may involve needles, scissors, tools, small parts, cords, adhesives, heat or an iron. Follow the supplied instructions and product warnings. Kits intended for adults are not toys. Children should only participate when the product is suitable for them and with appropriate adult supervision.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Craftalo is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and contact you where appropriate.
Personal information
We use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
The terms in force when you order will apply to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.
